Our top tips to sell your caravan, fast!

How to sell your caravan, fast!

If you’re thinking about selling your caravan, there are a few different options available, each with their own pros and cons.

If you want to sell your caravan fast, contacting a caravan dealer is a good option. Sell your caravan to us and we could arrange collection within 24hrs.

However, if you’re happy to wait for the best offer, finding a private seller or selling your caravan through an online auction site might be a better option.

There are loads of ways to sell your caravan, but when you break them all down, they really only fall into 3 categories;

1. Sell to a caravan dealer

Selling your caravan to a reputable caravan dealer (like us) is often the fastest and easiest option for individual sellers.

Trying to sell your caravan yourself can be stressful and time consuming. Arranging advertising, managing viewings and haggling over prices all go with the territory, but fitting all of this in around your work and family life may not be easy.

Selling your caravan to us couldn’t be simpler; just tell us the make, model, year and condition and we will provide a free valuation within 24hrs. Accept our offer and we could arrange a next-day collection - Find out more

2. Find a Private Buyer

Selling your caravan to a private buyer should get you the best price and there’s no shortage of advertising platforms to choose from, however there are some downsides to selling your caravan yourself;

You will be responsible for photographing and advertising your caravan, arranging viewings and ensuring that you receive a secure payment. Plus, any potential after-sale issues will be down to you to work out.

If you have the time to manage all of this, great, but if not, you may be better off selling to a dealer.

3. Sell through a broker

Caravan brokers will work to find a buyer for your caravan. Usually, the seller pays the broker a fixed fee to advertise and manage the sale of their caravan for them.

One of the major advantages of using a broker is their vast network of potential buyers. Finding the right buyer for your caravan can be time-consuming, but a caravan broker will do all of the leg-work for you, finding a genuine buyer whilst ensuring that you get a fair price for your caravan.

The downside is, depending on how good the broker is, it could take some time before your caravan is sold.
